Updated R and Python environments

We are currently evolving and just recently we updated the R and Python environments for our Jupyter Notebooks. This is good news for you, because there are new packages and thus new methods available for your research. Of course, we are aware that sometimes upgrading the environment may lead to problems in older code. So if you experience any problems, let us know.

The updates we applied recently will be available whenever you create a new analysis and we hope that you will benefit from these updates. The most important changes are:

R Updates:

• R updatet to 3.6.1
• Seurat updatet to 3.1.0
• SingleR updatet to commit adc4a0e

New R packages:

• Monocle (Version 2.12.0)
• TSCAN (Commit 66d30ca)
• SingleCellExperiment (1.6.0)

Python Updates:

• Scanpy updatet to 1.4.4.post1
• anndata updatet to 0.6.22.post1
• loompy updatet to 3.0.6
